    Friday’s Prayer

Good Friday Morning Blog Family. I pray everyone had a safe and blessed week and ready for a restful weekend. Because no matter how much we do during the week, we must take time to rest and get re-energized in the Lord. If God took a day of rest from all of His work, should we not rest after a full week of work? The word rest is found in the New Testament 44 times, so apparently there are times we need to rest. Praise God. Also, as we lift our voices to our Heavenly Father this morning in prayer. Please pray for the people in India that are going…

God Is Still Good and Still In Control

Good Wednesday Morning Blog Family. Praying everyone’s doing well and keeping God first in everything and all things. Praise God. This morning I want to talk a little about the goodness of God. If all I said was “God is good” that would be enough. We have all made the statement “God is good all the time and all the time God is good,” and that is so true. Do you actually believe that when you say it? Do you allow the goodness of God to show in your everyday life? Do you remember how good God is when things in your life are not so good? We must remember,…

    Temptation Can Lead To Sin

Good Monday Morning Blog Family and what a beautiful morning it is. Sun shining, birds singing, squirrels running and playing, flowers in bloom and all greenery shining and clean from the rain. What an awesome scene and all created by our Heavenly Father for us to enjoy. Praise God. This morning I want to talk about a word that a lot of us do not like and that word is TEMPTATION. Although, we are all tempted by something every day whether we realize if or not. First, lets find out what the definition of the word temptation means. In the dictionary it reads; “temptation is the desire to do something,…

    Friday’s Prayer

Good Friday Afternoon Blog Family. I pray everyone had a safe and blessed week and ready for the weekend. I apologize for a late post this afternoon, but my website was doing a maintenance this morning to make sure everything is up to speed. So, that is why I am just now posting Friday’s Prayer. Praise God. Today I would like to post a very familiar Bible reading for today’s prayer which is Psalm 23. Please join in with me . The Lord the Shepherd of His People A Psalm of David. 23 The Lord is my shepherd;I shall not [a]want.2 He makes me to lie down in [b]green pastures; He leads me beside the [c]still waters.3 He restores my soul;He leads…

    Let Them Talk And Laugh

Good Wednesday Morning Blog Family. Today is another beautiful day, a little cool but still a beautiful day. I pray you and your family started this day with God and ready to be blessed and be a blessing. Thank You Jesus. In Monday’s post, I talked about Nehemiah and his obedience to God, even when his enemies came against him. It didn’t matter what they said or how they questioned his actions, he still did what God had told him to do. Because of his disobedience, God had his back through it all. Today I want to talk about another person that God chose to do a job, but this…

    Sometimes We Talk Too Much

Good Monday Morning Blog Family. I pray everyone had a safe and blessed weekend and ready for a new week in the Lord. I went to church Sunday for the first time in almost 2 years and I so enjoyed seeing my church family. We have all been vaccinated, wore our masks and kept the 6 feet distance seating and we had some good church. Praise God. We had a good lesson in Sunday school Sunday morning and I want to talk a little about it this morning. If you are not familiar with Nehemiah, I suggest you read the Book of Nehemiah in your Bible. God had given Nehemiah…

Today I would like to share Psalm 103. God Is Always Right!

Good Wednesday Morning Blog Family. Praying all is well with you and your families, staying safe and blessed in our Heavenly Father. A cloudy, rainy and cool day is just right for a nice cup of coffee and some good reading. Thank You Jesus. When you read your Bible, do you believe every thing that you read? Since I asked the question, let me go ahead and answer it, YES. If it is in the Bible, then I believe it, no matter what it is. If God said it, then I believe it, period. God is always right about everything and I mean everything. It’s nothing that needs to be…

Your Joy – Real or Counterfeit

Good Monday Morning Blog Family and what a beautiful morning it is. This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24). Praise God. I would also like to apologize for not posting a prayer Friday for Friday’s Prayer. I left the house early Friday morning traveling out of town to receive my 2nd covid vaccination and I was gone for a while. When I returned home I had to run a couple of errands and I just didn’t bother posting that late in the day. But, I am back on schedule this morning. Praise God. Well, this is the beginning of…

    Just Be Still

Good Wednesday Morning Blog Family. I pray everyone’s doing well, continuing to stay safe and blessed. Being obedient to God and being very grateful for all He does and for who He is. Praise God. This morning while reading my devotion, they were referring back to Psalm 46. So, as I read the Psalm, I felt this was a great Psalm to share with all of you this morning. Just as a little reminder to be still and know that He is God. God the Refuge of His People and Conqueror of the Nations To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A Song for Alamoth. Psalm 46 46 God is our refuge and…
