Good Morning Blog Family. I pray you had a blessed and safe weekend and ready to start a new week in the Lord. I am so thankful this morning because my Heavenly Father allowed me to see another day, feeling blessed. Thankful for another day and another chance to be better than I was the day before. Thank You Jesus.
Yesterday, I was listening to a prayer that you pray over your house and as I was listening, I thought about my own house. Before the prayer was prayed, there were some questions that were asked and they got me to thinking. It was put on my heart to share these questions with you. To make sure your house is a Christian home. I have listed a few of these questions below:
- Is the Lord Jesus welcomed in your home?
- Is God first in your home, is He a priority in your home?
- Is the Word of God loved and honored in your home?
- Is the Word of God lived and spoken in your home?
- Is the presence of God felt in your home?
- Is your home covered in the Blood of Jesus?
- Is prayer and praise heard often in your home?
- Are you careful of who you invite into your home?
- Are your children being taught the Word of God in your home?
- Is God the head of your marriage in your home?
A Christian home is a place for you and your family, where God is the head of your home. Being very careful as to what you allow to take place in your home and who you welcome into your home. Making sure that you and your family are honoring God and His Word at all times. In one of my past blogs, I asked this question. If your walls could talk, what would they say about you? What would they say about your house? Take the time and make sure your home is a place that God is welcomed at all times.
Pray over your house for God’s protection and place His angels around your home inside and out. Place that protective hedge of fire around your home and property to keep anything or anyone away that may bring harm or danger. Make sure the devil has nothing that belongs to him in your home. My Mom used to tell me if there was anything in your house that belonged to the devil, he had a right to come and check on it. I DO NOT WANT HIM IN MY HOUSE!
Joshua 24:15 reads, “But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Proverbs 3:33 reads, “The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous. I want God to bless my home everyday and I will do what I need to do to keep Him in it. God Bless π
