A Fresh And Cleansing Rain

Good Wednesday Morning Blog Family. Praying everyone’s having a safe and blessed day. Well, today is a very rainy and wet day, but a very beautiful day all the same. To me, rainy days are very relaxing and I enjoy them very much. Laying in bed listening to the rain or sitting in my chair with my cup of coffee listening to the rain, very enjoyable and relaxing.

Standing here looking through the back door, watching the rain fall. It brings a lot of memories and a lot of different things to mind. I love the way everything is so clean and fresh after a rain. I love the fresh smell of the outdoors. All of the trees and greenery has been washed clean and very shiny. I think it is absolutely breath taking.

It reminds me of the Blood of Jesus and how it washes and cleanses us of a lot things. But it doesn’t just cleanse us from things, it does so much more. The Blood of Jesus was the price that was paid for our freedom, there is power in that blood. As a Christian, we are purified and cleansed by the Blood of Jesus. So, when we talk, preach or teach about the Blood of Jesus, we are acknowledging how much God loved us. God proved how much He loved us by giving His one and only Son for us. When we stop and think about that act of love, how can you not love Him in return.

That cleansing Blood of Jesus does so much more than just cleanse, wash and purify us. The Blood of Jesus redeems us from sin, purifies our hearts and minds, help us to be free of and overcome temptations of any kind, our salvation, it offers us eternal life when we accept Him, saves us from the wrath of God, brings us peace in the midst of life storms, allows us to be forgiven for our sins, brings us closer to our Heavenly Father, protection and gives us power over evil and the evil one. So, I only listed a few things that the Blood of Jesus and the Power of the Blood of Jesus does for us.

John 3:16 reads, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” That’s just how much God loved us and when He gave us His son, His powerful Blood was given to us as well. How awesome is that? We should love Jesus because He first loved us and gave His life for us, shedding His Blood on the cross. Thank you Jesus for the life You gave, the Blood You shed and the Love You gave. Thank You Father for loving us so much and for giving us Your one and only Son and His cleansing Blood. God Bless:)
