Good Monday Morning Blog Family. I pray all of you and your families had a safe and blessed weekend. Now, it’s time to start a new week full of new and amazing blessings. Praise God.
Well, since this is the month of December and Christmas, my blogs will be centered around this time of year. The holiday season is upon us once again. Last December when we were still attending church in person and having Christmas programs. I found a Christmas poem on Pinterest, one of my favorite websites for awesome ideas for any and every occasion. I read this poem during our Christmas program because it was full of so much truth about how we get so busy celebrating Christmas and not Jesus. It was just a little reminder to us of what Christmas is all about and that is the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
So, at this time I will share this beautiful Christmas poem with all of you.
If You Look For Me At Christmas
If you look for me at Christmas,
You won’t need a special star.
I’m no longer just in Bethlehem,
I’m right there where you are.
You may not be aware of Me,
Amid the celebrations.
You’ll have to look beyond the stores,
And all the decorations.
But if you take a moment,
From your list of things to do.
And listen to your heart,
You’ll find I’m waiting there for you.
You’re the one I want to be with,
You’re the reason that I came.
And you’ll find Me in the stillness,
As I’m whispering your name.

When I first read this poem, it really touched my heart. Such a beautiful poem for Christmas during all of our busyness. As I said earlier, don’t get too busy with your Christmas lists and forget the real reason for Christmas, Jesus. God Bless 🙂
