Allow God To Change You

Good Wednesday Afternoon Blog Family. I pray you are experiencing a beautiful afternoon as I am experiencing this afternoon. It is truly a masterpiece, absolutely breathtaking. Standing once again and looking out my back door, simply beautiful. Everything is so green and the sun’s shining, beautiful blue sky with white fluffy clouds. God so is amazing.

Before I get started this afternoon, I would like to take a few minutes to say thank you to all of my blog followers, my blog family. Thanking you for your support for the 4 years I have been blogging. This month “Mornings With God” is celebrating a 4 year anniversary. It was 4 year ago in the month of May that I launched www.agodmoring.com and it has truly been a blessing to me and I pray to you as well. So, thank you, thank you, thank you.

It was a few years ago that I blogged about the good that came from the pandemic. I am experiencing a lot of that good in my own personal life. Before everything changed and we had to stay home, my relationship with my Heavenly Father was good, although it could have been better. I could have been spending more time with Him and reading and studying my Bible a little more. Please don’t misunderstand me, I was doing all of those things, I just felt I could have been giving Him more of my time. Because we all get busy sometimes with stuff, but we should never get too busy for God, never.

So, after things changed and we had no choice but to stay home and stay safe. I found myself spending more time with Him, praying more, reading and studying more, praising and worshiping more. Last night during my praise and worship, I noticed something different, something had changed. I had changed and God had changed me. The more I read and study, the more I want to read and study. The more I praise and worship, the more I want to praise and worship. The more I pray and get in His presence, the more I want to pray and get in His presence. Asking for more of Him in my life and less of me. Whatever is in me that He did not put there, to remove it from me. Romans 8:28 reads, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

I believe He has taken me to another level in my Spiritual walk with Him. All of the things that would worry me, or things I had no control over. I made the choice to give those things and loved ones to God and let Him do what only He can do. I have asked to see things through His eyes and to love with His kind of love. I am on a journey and when this journey is over and I am standing before my Father. I want to hear Him say “well done my good and faithful servant.” Philippians 4:11-12 says it very well, “I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.” This is what God is teaching me, to be content and trust Him. He has already put in me what I need to do what He has called me to do. All I have to do is follow His lead and stay on the chosen path He has planned out for me.

So dear hearts, what I am saying in all of this, is let God have His way with you and in you. He is an all knowing and all seeing wise God and you can’t have the life He intended for you to have without Him. If and when you decide to surrender your life completely and totally to Him. He will make all of the necessary changes that need to be made and you just follow His lead. Allow Him to change you from the inside out, you will be amazed at the person you can become in Him. He made you and He knows what you need and what you don’t need, just trust Him. God Bless 🙂

Prayer

Father God, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus as humble as we know how. Giving You all of the praise and the glory that belongs to You. Coming before You each day and allowing You to change what needs to be changed in us. Removing all things that You did not put in us, giving us more of You and less of us. We know that You know what is best for us, better than we know ourselves. So, thank You for loving us that much and making us into what You want us to be. Thank You Father and we love You. Amen
