Good Wednesday Morning Blog Family. Praying everyone had time this morning to spend with our Heavenly Father before starting your day. Praise God.
As Christians, we all know what Psalm 118:24 says, “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” This scripture is saying a lot, it’s a short scripture, but it is a powerful scripture. It points out at the very beginning that this is the day that the Lord has made and that would be enough all by itself. It then goes on to let you know to rejoice and be glad in it. Very easy to understand, just be obedient and do what it says, that simple.
As you already know, I use Psalm 118:24 in a lot of my blogs, especially in my morning greetings. I use it because it is one of our many instructions from the Word of God. He is telling us that whatever day we are in, it is a day that He has made and He wants us to rejoice in Him and be glad in the day that He has blessed us with. That is so amazing to me because I look at that scripture as our Heavenly Father talking to us. As He does in all of the scriptures.
When we get up in the mornings and start our day, we need to remind ourselves of Psalm 118:24, because that is the perfect way to start every morning. Make yourself remember throughout the day that this is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. No matter what my day brings or what I am faced with, it is still a day the Lord made and I will still rejoice and be glad in it. Why? Because I know that He is in this day with me. Deuteronomy 31:6-8 says “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave your nor forsake you.”
I used this same scripture Psalm 118:24 as the topic for my video this morning and I decided it would make a great blog this morning. So, try and greet everyone with a smile and share a kind word with someone today. Let’s go out and have a great day in Jesus name and remember, God loves you and so do I. God Bless π
