Good Wednesday Morning Blog Family. With the pleasant weather we are having, I pray all is well with everyone. Although, God is good all the time and all the time God is good. No matter what weather conditions are like. Praise God.
When watching tv or looking through a magazine, you will see a lot of different advertisements for a lot of different things. Products that the media tries to make us believe we can’t live without. We can’t have a successful life without these products or making these changes. Dressing a certain way to make us look like everyone else. Make up to change the way we look. Certain foods that will change our body sizes. All different color hair and styles and changing the shapes of our lips, nose and eyes. The list goes on and on and on. So, by the time you have spent time and money making these unnecessary changes in your life. Updates are made and the cycle starts all over again. Old things don’t work any more and new things work even better.
God made life for us very simple and easy, but sometimes our choices makes our life very hard. That’s because we have made the choice to please people instead of pleasing God. Be happy with who God made you to be and the path that He has chosen for you to travel. Genesis 1:27 reads, “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” God does not make mistakes and how you were created is the how you are supposed to be. Psalm 139:13-14 reads, ” (13)For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. (14) I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my would knows very well.”
We look in the mirror and are never pleased with who we are or how we look. The world has us thinking we are too large or too small, too short or too tall, too dark or too light, too wide or too thin. You have to remember we are not of this world and we do not live as the world lives. Christians do not live according to the way the world lives. Our life is lived according to Jesus Christ and the Word of God. We are just passing through on our way home. So, think about yourself what God says about You in His Word and be happy with who God made you to be. God Bless 🙂
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus as humble as we know how. Thanking You for Your grace and mercy which is new every morning. We ask that You helpnus to see ourselves the way You see us. Help us to accept ourselves the way You have made us and to be happy and content. Thank You and we love You. Amen
