Being A Light In A Dark World

Good Thursday Morning Blog Family. I pray you and your families are whole, healthy, healed and complete in the Lord this morning. Praise God.

Last night my daughter shared a post with me that she read on her Facebook page by Sun Gazing. It was very good and had a strong message and as I was reading it I felt like I was supposed to share it this morning with all of you.

It reads, “When a flashlight grows dim or quits working, you don’t throw it away, you change the batteries. When a person messes up and finds themselves in a dark place, do you cast them aside? Of course not, you help them change their batteries! Some need AA..Attention and Affection; Some need AAA…Attention, Affection and Acceptance; Some need C..Compassion; Some need D..Direction. And if they still don’t seem to shine..simply sit with them quietly and share your light.”

Now, that was really good and made a good point. That’s why I felt the need to share it. Matthew 5:14-16 reads, ” (14)You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. (15)Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. (16)Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” So, whether in the world or with one person, always let our light shine. God Bless 🙂
