    Meet Jesus Where You Are

Good Morning, Good Morning, Good Morning. We have made it half way through the week this wonderful Wednesday morning. Make sure you put a big smile on your face and say Good Morning to everyone you meet. It doesn’t even matter if they don’t say Good Morning back to you. It’s not about you. Have you ever talked to someone that thought they had to get their life together before surrendering to Jesus? They feel like they have to stop whatever sinning they are doing. Whether it’s an addiction that needs to be broken. It could be a certain lifestyle they are living. Maybe it’s a very bad habit that…

    Believing & Trusting In God

Happy Monday Everyone. Today is another opportunity to please God in all we do and say. The way we treat others and most importantly, the way we represent Him. Let’s make our Heavenly Father proud. I would like to talk to you today about believing and trusting in God. Two key words in this message, believing and trusting. So, I decided to look up the definition of these two very important words, and this is what I found. Believing is to accept something that is true. Trusting is a firm belief in the integrity, ability, or character of a person or thing.  Some people think because they believe, the trust…

    Friday’s Prayer

Well, it’s Friday once again. We made it through another week. Today on Friday’s Prayer, I would like to dedicate this to all of the victims of the Ohio and El Paso shootings and their families. Please join me in prayer. Father God, I come to You in the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Thanking You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for all You have done, all You are doing and all You will do. Thanking You for not just what You do, but for who You are in my life. You are an amazing God and I give You all of the glory, all of the honor…

When God Calls, Just Say Yes

While reading my devotion about God speaking to and calling people in the Bible. God called people to do things that were highly impossible in their own knowledge and strength. But with God’s help they were very victorious in all they were instructed to do. Because God does not give us anything to do that He does not first equip us to do. Ephesians 4:13 reads, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This brought back to remembrance of when God called me years ago. I was told that God had placed a calling on my life and that I was to minister to His abused children.…

    Don’t Leave Home Without It

Ephesians 6:10-17 reads, “(10) Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. (11) Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. (12) For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (13) Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. (14) Stand firm then, with the belt of…

    Friday’s Prayer

Happy Friday! Psalm 118:24 reads, “This is the day that the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” So, let us start out being obedient this morning. Being glad and rejoicing in this beautiful day. Today’s prayer for Friday’s Prayer will be for the world. Shall we pray? Father God, I come to You in the precious name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Thanking You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for all You have done, all You are doing, and all You will do in the lives of Your children everywhere. You are an awesome God and we are so grateful. We come to You…

Do Not Be Fearful or Afraid

A couple of days ago I was reading about the Gilroy Garlic Festival shooting in California. People went to the festival with family and friends for a day of fun and enjoyment. Unaware they would soon be running for their lives and some losing their lives. Living in this world today can be very frightening. There is so much evil all around us, people are afraid to leave their house. Although, God instructs us in His Word to not be afraid. Fear is not from God and He does not want us to let it enter into our hearts. I know that can be hard sometimes because of the news,…

    Take Some Time To Rest

Happy Monday! It’s that time once again, to go out and let the world see Jesus in us. Smile, speak and share a kind word and make someone else’s day. I also pray everyone had an awesome weekend as well. My husband is in transportation and he came home this weekend. We had planned this weekend and had been looking forward to it for some time now. Because of his work schedule and being on the road away from home all the time, we always have to plan for his time off. He has been wanting to get in some fishing, so we planned our weekend fishing trip and it…

    Friday’s Prayer

Happy Friday everyone. Today is another blessed Friday that we were allowed to be a part of. Thank you Father for today. Well, this is Friday’s Prayer once again and today we are going to pray for Bereaved Families. There have been quite a few home goings in the past few weeks in my life. Last month my Mom went home to be with the Lord and a friend of mines Son went home to be with the Lord. Last week, the Minister at my church, his Son went home to be with the Lord. I know they are all in a better place, but they are deeply missed missed.…

    That Morning Addiction

The definition of addiction reads, “the fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance, thing, or activity.” So, what is your morning addiction? What is that one thing you have to do or have in the morning as soon as your eyes open? Is it that first cup of coffee, a nicotine product, morning talk show, checking face book or texting a friend? We all have a morning addiction. This topic for my blog was given to me this morning in the midst of me thinking about a cup of coffee. I woke up this morning and my first thought was, I am going to get up and…
