Good Monday Morning Blog Family. I pray that all of you and your families had a safe and blessed weekend and looking forward to a safe and blessed week. I also pray that getting before the Father this morning was at the top of your Monday morning to do list, the first thing on your list. Seeking Him for guidance and instructions for today and the days ahead. Praise God.
I am sitting here on the truck this morning with my hot and delicious cup of coffee with mypeppermint mocha cream and I have to say it is sooooooo good. Sitting here with the bright sunshine pouring down on me and a very cool breeze keeping me from getting too warm. I tell you, when God does something He does it right, He never does a half job, always whole and complete. This is why I am always talking about how much I love Him, because I know He loves me. Just saying that He loves me makes me feel so amazingly good right now.
Last week as we were traveling from Texas, and going through New Mexico, Arizona and into Nevada it was getting colder and colder the further we traveled. When we got to Flagstaff Arizona, there was snow on the ground, but nothing was on the road. There was enough snow to let you know it had been snowing and that it was that time of year so get ready. Seeing all of the trees that have changed their colors or in the midst of doing so, breathtaking. I love this time of year and seeing all of the different colors that God has made for our enjoyment. If you ever take a moment to really look at the Fall colors, stop and see if you can think if you have ever seen these shades of greens, browns, reds, golds, and burgundy’s. Yes, we have seen these colors but not these shades, they are so much more beautiful than what we see everyday.
God is so amazing and He is amazing in everything He does, even making the Fall colors. This is one of the reasons I love traveling with my husband, seeing all of the beauty that God has created. You know, there is just so much I can see in my backyard or around the town I live in. When I travel with him, I wouldn’t even know where to begin telling of all of the beauty that I see. The smell of the seasons changing are heavy in the air, especially when it is cold. Some of the sights are truly unbelievable, the snow top mountains, the leaves falling from the trees like rainfall, the clouds sitting on top of the mountains, the water flowing over the rocks and I could just go on and on. As I have said many times before, this is my favorite time of the year and I try to enjoy every minute of it..
This is the same way it should be with the changing of our lives as we go through different things and get to different levels. We should enjoy the journey and stop and take everything in that God has blessed us with and still blessing us with on a daily basis. If He takes care of His nature creations so well, why would He not take care of you too? We are His creations and He loves us more than the birds, trees, flowers and all of nature.
Matthew 6:25-34 reads,25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
So, as you enjoy natures changing of the seasons, please enjoy the changes of the seasons in your life as well. God created them both for our enjoyment on the journey. God Bless 🙂
