Good Tuesday Morning Blog Family. Praying that you started your day with God, spending that one on one time with Him first. This morning I am re-posting a blog I did back in November of 2019, with a few additions. Why? Because sometimes we need to be reminded of just how much God loves us and all of the benefits that comes along with that amazing love.
Anyone who has been employed and worked for a company has received some type of benefits. Usually health, dental, vision, life and whatever else the company offers. The company pays for a percentage and you pay the remaining balance of the cost for the benefits. Which is usually very expensive.
Being a Christian, you are offered another set of benefits. God supplies these benefits to you at no charge, because the price has already been paid in full. These benefits come with knowing God and believing in His Son Jesus Christ, accepting Him as your Lord and Savior. Take a minute and read over the God supplied benefits below:
Psalm 103:1-5
(1) Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
(2) Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not all His benefits:
(3) Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
(4) Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies,
(5) Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
So, this is just a little reminder of the benefits God has in place for His children. This is an awesome benefits package, it doesn’t get any better than this. Just know Him, accept His Son Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, trust Him at His Word and believe to activate. Oh, and there are no passwords to remember or co-pays to use these benefits.
There’s no hours in the waiting room of your neighborhood clinic. The Physician that comes with these benefits makes house calls any time of the day or night. All you have to do is call upon His name where ever you are. Your only requirement is to belong to Him. God Bless 🙂
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Lord and Savior. Giving You all of the praise, honor and glory that belongs to You. Thanking You, Jesus and Holy Spirit for all You have done, all You are doing and that we know You will continue to do in the lives of Your children. Father, thank You for all of the benefits that we receive in Psalm 103, just for being Your children and being obedient to Your Word. You are so gracious and merciful and You have proved time and time again just how much You love us. All of the renewals, the restorations, the healings, the blessings, the forgiveness, the love, the protection and this list could go on and on. Once again Father we say thank You for all that You do for us, Your children. Amen
