Do You Know God Or Know About God?

Good Wednesday Morning Blog Family and how’s everyone doing this beautiful day that the Lord has made? Let us all rejoice and be glad in it, being grateful, thankful and obedient to His Word. Praise God.

This morning my husband and I are going to visit his Dad, in which I haven’t been down there since my Mother-in-Love went home to be with the Lord in September of 2022. I know going to the country will not be the same without her being there. She would always meet me at the door with a big hug and a kiss, so happy to see me. So, please pray for me that I will be ok today, I just know it’s going to be a little sad and hard, but God. He is always with me and He has never left me, so I know that He will be with me and help me with my first visit to the house without her being there.

Part of my prayer every morning is that God will be to all of us what we need Him to be at the time we need Him to be it. God is so good and gracious and He loves us so much. We just have to always remember who God is and that we as His children belong to Him. Being the good, good Father that He is, loving us, protecting us and instructing us how to live as He intends for us to live. We have to be obedient and follow Him as we allow Him to lead us.

When you really stop and think about how the Bible describes our Heavenly Father, you should not give being obedient to the Word. He loves us so much that He gave us His one and only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and King. If that was not more than enough, He gave us His Holy Spirit to teach us, counsel us and help us. He lives us so much and we should live like we know it.

So, my question is, “Do you Know God or do you just know about God?” I pray your answer is that you Know God and that you have a very close relationship with Him. If you just know about Him, then I suggest you get to Know Him. Open up your Bible and find out everything you need to know about God as your Heavenly Father and then acknowledge who He is. God Bless 🙂

Prayer

Father God, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Lord and Savior. Giving You all of the praise, honor and glory that belongs to You. Thank You for who You are and who You are in our lives. Loving us, protecting us, leading us, guiding us and ordering our footsteps. Thank You for all that You do for us and we love You. Amen
