Good Tuesday Morning Blog Family. I pray everyone’s having a great morning and spreading the Love of the Father this morning, as Jesus would do. Praise God.
If I asked you what condition your heart was in, could you honestly tell me or would you even know? As you probably already know, our hearts are a very important organ in our bodies and it plays a very important part. If you have ever noticed, whenever we go to the doctor for anything, the doctor always listens to our heart. Why? Because when the heart is not functioning properly, it can cause a lot of other problems in our bodies. So, as usual I did a little research on the heart and the functions of the heart and this is what I found. “The heart is a muscle at the center of your circulation system, pumping blood around your body as your heart beats. This blood sends oxygen and nutrients to all parts of your body, and carries away unwanted carbon dioxide and waste products.
Now, I said all of that about the heart to say this. What are you allowing to flow into your heart due to your attitudes the way you treat others. The Bible tells us that God looks at the heart of His children instead of the outside as men do. In 1 Samuel 16:7 it reads, “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” Whether you realize if or not, the heart speaks a lot of truth and it shows the true side of us.
Are you treating others the way you would like for them to treat you? Are you speaking kind words to other instead of hurtful and unforgiving words? Are you willing to help other in need when you see there is a need? When someone asks you to pray for them, do you actually take the time and pray? Are you a trustworthy person that will keep your word when given? Do you wake up every morning with a heart to live your life in a way that pleases God? Or do you just wake up and do your own thing, whether it is pleasing to God or not? I ask these questions, because they all relate to the heart. What goes into the heart flows out of the heart, whether good or bad.
I have listed a few scriptures below to show you what the Bible says about the heart:
Proverbs 4:23 reads, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
Luke 6:45 reads, “A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings the evil things our of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”
Jeremiah 17:9-10 reads, “The heart is deceitful above all thins and beyond cure. Who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart nd examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”
Psalm 51:10 reads, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”
Ezekiel 36:26 reads, “i will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
There are so many scriptures in the Bible about the heart and how we are to care for it and what we are to allow to go into it. Not only is the heart important to our bodies functions but it is also important to God as to how it functions toward Him and others. So, as I asked you in the title of this blog, “Do you need a heart transplant?” Putting it the way the Bible says it, “Create in me a clean heart.” If you do not know the condition of your heart, I would suggest you check yourself. Make an appointment with the Great Physician and get your heart checked out. You may be in need of a new heart or maybe just a few minor adjustments. Whichever, get it done before it causes other problems and damages to your life that you may not want to deal with. God Bless 🙂
Prayer
Father God, we come to You this morning in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Lord and Savior. Giving You all of the praise and glory that already belongs to You. Child of God, if you have not already done this. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and give Him complete control of your heart and your life. That will be the best decision you have ever made, I know it was for me. Romans 10:9-10 reads, “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Amen
