Faith That Pleases God

Good Morning. Praying everyone’s having a blessed week. I’m sure you are if you started your week out with God.

I have a question for you this morning, a little something to think about. Do you have faith? Hebrews 11:1 reads, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Matthew 21:22 reads, “And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” Romans 10:17 reads, “So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:7 reads, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” So, I will ask you again, do you have faith?

I’m sure we all know that it is faith that pleases God. Hebrews 11:6 reads, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” So, that was made very plain and simple to understand. Without faith you cannot please God.

The next time you sit down to read your Bible, read Hebrews 11. This entire chapter talks about the faith of Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and Moses. These people pleased God with their faith. It is amazing to read about their faith and the blessings that followed. I promise you, it will increase your faith, it definitely increased mine.

Mark 11:22-24 reads, “And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
