Friday’s Prayer

Good Friday Morning Everyone. It sure seems like Friday came back around very fast with me just posting last Friday’s Prayer, but that’s ok. I am thankful to be sitting here this morning posting this Friday’s Prayer. Today I would like to pray for all of the people that have been affected by Tropical Storm Imelda. So, please join me in prayer.

Father God, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Thanking You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for all You have done, all You are doing and all You will do. Thanking You for not just what You do but for who You are in the lives of Your children. This morning Father, I come to You with a heavy heart. Praying for all of the people that have been in the path of Tropical Storm Imelda.

I was reading where Imelda is worse that Hurricane Harvey. I can’t even imagine what these people are going through. Father I pray that people will be able to get to safety and not try and sit it out. Waiting until it’s too late and having to be rescued, putting others lives in danger. There has been 2 lives lost and I pray there will not be any more. I pray for the families of the 2 people that lost their lives. Give them the strength to get through this storm and the loss of their loved ones.

We had a down pour this morning and I was laying here thinking about how hard it was raining. I was thinking if this kept up all day, there would be flooding here. But nothing like the flooding Imelda’s leaving behind. So, Father God, I pray that You will keep everyone safe and protected from harm and danger in all of this rain and flooding. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless 🙂
