Good Morning and Happy Friday. Praying that everyone had a blessed week and moving forward into a blessed weekend. It’s time for our Friday’s Prayer once again. Today it was put on my heart to pray for marriages that are in trouble. So, please join me in prayer for not just your marriage, but for other marriages as well.
Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior. First thanking You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for all You have done, all You are doing and all You will do. I come today lifting up marriages to You that are in trouble and needing Your help.
I ask that You touch every husband and wife no matter who they are and no matter where they are. Touching them and their marriage in a way that can only come from You. If there is anything in their lives and marriage relationship that is displeasing to You, show it to them so they can repent of it and move forward together in You. Heal every marriage that needs healing with Your healing touch. If there is any lying, cheating, disrespect, negativism, selfishness, physical or mental abuse, etc. Lord, I am asking You to help them to fix it and fix it Your way.
There are a lot of husbands and wives that are miserable, unhappy, lonely, unloved, abused, mistreated and have given up. Lord, put it on their hearts to come to You, the creator of marriage. Help them to not give up on themselves, their marriage or You. Ephesians 4:2 reads, “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” 1 Peter 4:8 reads, “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins.” John 15:12 reads, “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”
So Father, in the name of Jesus I pray they will fall on their knees together before You as husband and wife and give their marriage to You. They have done all they can do, now You step in and do what only You can do. I ask You to cover them and their marriage in the Blood of Jesus. I thank You in advance because I know by faith, it is already done. Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless 🙂
