Friday’s Prayer

Well, it’s Friday once again. We made it through another week. Today on Friday’s Prayer, I would like to dedicate this to all of the victims of the Ohio and El Paso shootings and their families. Please join me in prayer.

Father God, I come to You in the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Thanking You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for all You have done, all You are doing and all You will do. Thanking You for not just what You do, but for who You are in my life. You are an amazing God and I give You all of the glory, all of the honor and all of the praise.

Father God, I would like to lift up all of the families that lost loved ones last weekend in the Ohio and El Paso shootings. I pray that You will give them the strength they need to be able to deal with this. Women, men and children lost their lives for reasons that should not have been. They had done nothing to deserve what they endured. They have left behind loved ones that may not even understand all of this. But no matter whether they understand it or not, it is in Your Hands. Romans 12:19 reads, “Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.”

Praying also for the victims that are in the hospital, still recovering. Father, I ask for healing to take place in their bodies where ever needed in Jesus name. Help them to not dwell on what happened in their minds and not to hold hate in their hearts. But to give it to You and continue on with their lives. Being thankful that they still have a life to continue in You. Lifting up all of the victims families and the victims that are recovering to You in the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless 🙂
