Good Morning Everyone, It’s time once again for our Friday’s Prayer. This morning we will be praying about the bullying taking place in our schools. I know this week the focus has been on our children and them going back to school. Because there’s so much that goes along with the start of a new school year. Bullying is one of those things that just won’t go away, so we are going to pray about that this morning. Let us pray:
Father God I come to you this morning in the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Giving you all the honor, praise and glory because You are so worthy of it all. I thank You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for all You have done, all You are doing and all You will do in our lives and the lives of our children.
Father, we come to you this morning lifting our children up to you in prayer. Asking that you protect them from all of this bullying that is going on in our schools. We teach our children not to be a bully toward other children, but they are being bullied. They can’t even go to school and just be themselves without being picked on and talked about. Because they don’t look or dress a certain way. Then there are the little groups with all of the popular kids that want to look down on anyone that is not a part of their group. Making our children feel certain ways about themselves. Even going as far as getting jumped, beat up and sometimes killed. All of this bullying sometimes ends up with them taking their own lives.
Father, we are praying Isaiah 54:17 and 1 John 4:4 over our children. Isaiah 54:17 reads, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgement You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me.” Says the Lord.” 1 John 4:4 reads, “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” We are standing on Your promises for our children in the precious name of Jesus. Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless π
