Good Friday Morning Blog Family. I pray everyone’s doing well, staying warm and safe. It is very cold where I am and I am sure it is probably very cold where you are. So, we are supposed to be snowed in this weekend, so please make plans ahead to stay inside and out of this artic blast of cold weather. Now, moving on to our Friday’s Prayer. Praise God.
Father God we come to You in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Giving You all of the praise, all of the honor and all of the glory. Thanking You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for all You have done, all You are doing and all You will do in the lives of Your children. Thanking You for not just what You do, but for who You are.
Coming before You in prayer for all of the people that were involved in that horrific accident yesterday in Ft. Worth due to ice being on the freeway. We pray for the families that lost loved ones and for all of the people that were hurt. During this time of icy weather, Lord we pray that people will slow down and not be in such a hurry. To take their times and think of their fellow drivers as well, not just themselves.
We pray for the people that have no place to go and living outside under bridges and other places. Lord we pray they will have a warm place to shelter during this very cold weather. Praying they will have a warm place and a hot meal wherever they are. Thanking You for the shelters that offer a warm place and hot meals for people that are in need. Thank You Jesus.
Father, we also would like to lift all of our truck drivers up to You this morning. There are a lot of drivers out there driving on ice and snow everyday in order to do their job. They are slipping on sliding on this ice and having to do it everyday. Taking chances of turning over, sliding into other drivers, trying to keep control of their truck. Lord, my husband is one of those drivers out there everyday doing his job. So, we pray that you will keep our truck drivers safe at all times.
Father God, I know that when we pray in line with Your Word and Your Will, it is already done. So, thank you for what we know is already done. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless 🙂
