Friday’s Prayer

Good Morning and Happy Friday Everyone. Well, Friday is upon us once again. For many this weekend will be a three day weekend because of Labor Day on Monday. So, today for Friday’s Prayer, we will be praying for a safe holiday weekend. Because, there will be families headed to the lakes, having barbecues and picnics, some weekend traveling, shopping for those Labor Day sells at the malls and so on. So, please join in with me and pray.

Father God, I come to You in the name of Jesus my Lord and Savior. Giving You all of the Praise, all of the Honor and all of the Glory. Thanking You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for all You have done, all You are doing and all You will do. Thank You not only for what You do but for who You are in the lives of your children.

This morning Father, we come to you lifting up everyone to you in prayer. , As you know, we have a three day weekend coming up and a lot of Your children will be out and about. We are praying for safety going and coming, safety while we are wherever we are. Keeping us in the right places at the right times. With You being our Refuge and our Fortress, in You we will trust. Father, cover everyone with Your protection promises found in Psalm 91.

Father, usually after a three day weekend, we hear in the news of all sorts of boating and drowning accidents at the lakes, fights and shootings and gatherings, drinking and driving accidents, family barbecue disturbances and arguments, and on and on. So, we are praying for a safe and fun three day weekend for everybody everywhere. For all who will be traveling, we ask for Your traveling Grace and we thank you in Jesus name. Amen, Amen and Amen.
