Good Friday Morning Blog Family. Well, we are at the end of another week and headed into the weekend. Praying that you and your families will continue to keep God first in all you do and stay safe. Putting and keeping your trust in God all the way and not man. Praise God.
As we all know the governor is opening the state up 100% next week, which includes not having to wear your mask. Children of God, please continue to wear your mask, social distance, wash your hands and sanitize. We all know it is way too early to open things back up right now. This is why it is so important to trust God and not man. God doesn’t make mistakes, man does. So, I have posted 2 Bible Scriptures that back up what I have said for Friday’s Prayer.
Jeremiah 17:5-8
5 This is what the Lord says:
“Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
who draws strength from mere flesh
and whose heart turns away from the Lord.
6 That person will be like a bush in the wastelands;
they will not see prosperity when it comes.
They will dwell in the parched places of the desert,
in a salt land where no one lives.
7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
8 They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”
Psalm 118:8
8 It is better to trust in the Lord
Than to put confidence in man.
