Good Friday Morning Blog Family. Today is Good Friday and it is a beautiful day for so many reasons. Where I am the sun is shining bright and a cool breeze blowing, the morning is just breath taking. Also, today is Good Friday because of Jesus Christ, our risen Lord and Savior. Praise God. Shall we pray?
Father God, we come to You this beautiful morning in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. First giving You all of the praise, all of the glory and all of the honor You so rightly deserve. Thanking You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for all You have done, all You are doing and all You will continue to do in the lives of Your children. Thanking You not just for what You do but for who You are. Praise Your holy name.
Today is Good Friday, the day Your Son and our Lord and Savior was hung on the cross at Calvary and crucified. He was crucified for all of our sins, our pain, and for all of our wrong doing when He had no sin and did nothing wrong. Father God, we thank You for giving us Your son Jesus to take our place. We thank You and love You Jesus for all that You went through for us on that Good Friday. You showed us an example of what real love looks like through the sacrifice You made for us.
We are even more thankful and grateful that You got up on that third day which is now Resurrection Sunday. Lord, help us to go into Sunday with a grateful and thankful heart for all that Jesus did for us. Help us to acknowledge the love He had for us then and still has for us today. Help us to be able to allow Him to show and spread that love through us to others as He did for us. Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless 🙂
