Get Quiet And Just Listen

Good Monday Morning Blog Family. I pray everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and staying safe through it all, Praise God.

First let me apologize for not posting a lot during the month of December, it was very fast moving and busy. I started packing up the house in November because we had decided to embark upon a new journey in 2022. So, in the midst of packing, we went to Maui, Hawaii the 2nd week in December for a week and that was amazing. We came back from Hawaii and got back on the truck for a couple of weeks then came back home for Christmas and completed our packing and moving. So, as you can see December was very busy for me, but I am back on track. Thank God.

I wanted to share a Word God gave me Sunday morning and the way He gave it to me. We were passing through White Hills, Arizona which is like dessert land. My husband pulled over to do his log book and I let the window down to see how cold it was. I held my arm out of the window and as the cold wind blew across my arm, this is what immediately came to my mind.

Even though I can feel the wind and I can hear the wind, I can’t see the wind. I can see the affects of the wind when it blows through the trees or blowing things around, but I can’t see the wind. I can hear the wind as it makes whistling or roaring sounds, but I still can’t see the wind. It was like God was pointing this out to me and making sure I understood what He was saying.

Even though I can feel God and I can hear God, I cannot see God. I can see the results in my life from feeling Him, hearing Him and knowing Him, but I still can’t see Him. Just because we can’t see something doesn’t mean it’s not there or it doesn’t exist. Just like we can’t see the wind, we know it’s there because we can feel it and hear it. Just like we can’t see God, we know He is there because we can feel Him and hear Him in our minds and hearts.

God is always speaking to us but sometimes we get too busy to hear Him. I wasn’t too busy Sunday morning in White Hills, Arizona and I heard Him speak in that still quiet voice. Reassuring me that He is with me all of the time, even though I can’t see Him. Set aside some quiet time dear hearts and just listen, God is always speaking. God Bless 🤗
