Happy Good Friday

Happy Good Friday Afternoon Blog Family. Praying everyone’s enjoying this beautiful Good Friday. I don’t know how the weather is where you are, but it is sunny with a light cool breeze here where I am. It is a beautiful day for a lot of reasons. Thank You Jesus.

As we all know, Good Friday is the day that Jesus died on the cross for you and me. He died on the cross so that you and I could live. Thank You Jesus. He shed His Blood for each and every one of us, the Blood that keeps us covered and protected. His death on the cross was a sacrifice He made so that you and I could receive eternal life, a gift from our Heavenly Father.

I wanted to share what I read in Bible Study Tools and it read, “Jesus bore our sins, shame, and burden on the cross. The results changed the course of humanity and what man meant for evil through killing Jesus, God meant for good!” I read that and I thought about Genesis 50:20 which reads, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” Praise the Mighty Name of Jesus. I am so glad He did not come down off of that cross, because He could have. He stayed on that cross for you and I, because He loved us just that much.

If you have never watched movies around Easter on the life of Jesus and the His crucifixion. I would suggest you and your family make plans to watch one this Easter. A very good choice is the The Passion of Christ. To see all that He went through before He even made it to the cross. Then to see what He went through on the cross. Oh My God. How could you not love Him and give Him your life. Reading about it in the Bible and watching it on tv will give you two totally different reactions. Because when you actually sit and watch what He went through, I promise the tears will flow. You will want them to stop hurting Him but at the same time you will also be glad He went through with it. Just remember why He went through it.

Luke 23:46 reads, “Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit. When He had said this, He breathed His last.” 1 Peter 2:24 reads, “He himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed.” We are not saved by what we do, we are saved by what He did on the cross. John 19:30 reads, “When He had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.” Praise the Mighty Name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Thank You Jesus for all You have done and all that You are still doing. If I had a thousand tongues and said thank You every minute. I still couldn’t say thank You enough.

Have a Happy and Blessed Good Friday. God Bless 🙂
