Have A Blessed Christmas

Good Thursday Evening Blog Family. Praying everyone’s having a safe and blessed week and looking forward toa very busy weekend. I also pray that you will also find a little time to rest. This was the last week and weekend before Christmas. But even in the busy seasons of our lives, we still have to find time to rest.

Well, Christmas is almost upon us and there are a lot of things going on right now to prepare. Families on the road or in the air traveling home for this awesome celebration. Mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts and grandmothers are gathering together in the kitchen to prepare that big Christmas meal. Children are beginning to get very excited because of what is underneath the Christmas Tree with their name on it. Homes are beginning to smell a lot like Christmas.

Just don’t forget why we are doing all of the prepping and planning for this celebration. We are celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the greatest Gift ever given. The greatest Gift given to us by our Loving Heavenly Father. So, in the midst of all of the celebrations, remember to tell Jesus Happy Birthday. Let Him know how much you love Him and what He means to you. But not just for this one day but for all the days to follow.

As everyone has already started Christmas dinner preparations, I have also started mine. My Mom and I would always have certain days to cook certain things. One day would be set aside for baking, another day would be set aside for the veggies and another day for the meats. Leaving the dressing to put in the oven early Christmas morning. Doing things this way would always allow us to not have to spend Christmas Day in the kitchen. But be able to enjoy spending that time with the family, which would be an awesome time. So, I am carrying on that tradition without my Mom this year, but I still have those memories and I still have Jesus.

So, in closing out my blog this morning. I would just like to say to you all, have a very Blessed and Merry Christmas and keep Jesus in the midst of your celebrations. Remember, Jesus is the Only Reason for the Season. God Bless

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Lord and Savior. Giving You all of the praise, honor and glory that belongs to You. Thanking You for Your precious gift to us, Jesus Christ. Help us to keep Him in the midst of this holiday season and all year round. Amen
