Have A Safe, Blessed And Happy Thanksgiving

Good Wednesday Morning Blog Family. Well, we have made it half way through the work week and for some this is your Friday. With Thanksgiving being tomorrow (Thursday), I am praying that you and your families will stay safe at all times.

This year, Thanksgiving will be a lot different than it has been for a lot of families. When we take this special day to gather together with family and friends to celebrate and give thanks. This year we have been asked not to gather as we normally would, especially with family and friends outside of our home. Due to the corona virus, there will probably be a lot family and friends that will not be a part of that gathering this year. We have been advised not to travel and to stay at home for Thanksgiving.

Well, even though the way we are used to celebrating Thanksgiving may have changed, we can still take the time to give our many thanks. We all have so much to be thankful for, at least I know I do. God is still good no matter what is going on around us and He shows His goodness everyday. I have so many things that I a am so grateful and thankful for, too many to name. If you are a child of God, I am sure you can agree with me.

Psalm 107:1 reads, “Oh give thanks to the Lord for He is good; his steadfast love endures forever.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18 reads, “In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Psalm 100:4 reads, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name.” I listed just a few of the many scriptures that tells us we are to always give thanks to God. Not just for Thanksgiving but for everyday of our lives. Because whether you realize if or not, we have so much to be thankful for.

So, since this was the last blog I will post before Thanksgiving, I wanted to just say Have a safe, happy and blessed Thanksgiving with or without the gatherings. God Bless πŸ™‚
