How Much Do You Trust God?

Good Monday Morning Blog Family. I pray all of you had a safe and blessed weekend and started this week walking in the favor of God. Covered in His grace and mercy that is new every morning, overflowing with His goodness. Praise His Holy Name.

I would first like to apologize for not posting a prayer Friday for Friday’s Prayer. I was a little late on posting Friday but I had some technical issues with my computer Friday, so I didn’t get to post a blog on Friday. My computer is working this morning and I am back on schedule for this morning. Thank You Jesus.

Well, today I want to express the importance of trusting God in all things. My Mother-in Love and I had a conversation about this Sunday evening. Because whether we know it or not, our actions show whether or not we trust God or just how much we trust God. I always say, do what you can do and what you are supposed to do, then you trust God with what you have no control over. God tells us in the book of Joshua to trust Him in all things and wherever we go. Joshua 1:8-9 reads, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” So, if God is telling you to trust Him wherever you go, then that is what we need to do.

It seem seems like every time you turn on the news, they are talking about a new variant of covid popping up somewhere or a new disease that’s never been heard of. Now, my daughter was telling me they have put Sydney Australia on lock down because of covid spreading. No on can leave out and not one can come in. So, this is why it is so important to trust God in everything, no matter what it is and no matter how big or small. Yes, we have been vaccinated and we don’t have to wear a mask if we chose not to, but always do what you need to do to stay safe. God gives us His Word and He gives us common sense to do and to act accordingly. So, stay in your Bible, seek God’s face, ask for His wisdom and knowledge on things, be obedient and more than anything, TRUST GOD.

Trusting God goes far beyond paying a bill, better health, meeting the right person, getting that dream job, house or car. No, it means trusting Him with your life, your family, your safety and well being. It means trusting Him with your day to day living and your choices and decisions. Trusting God means giving Him everything, completely submitting to Him, giving Him complete and total control. Especially with all of the horrific things going on in this world, you better trust Him with everything because you will not survive without Him. Now, you just might survive, but I promise you it will not with God’s best that He has for you. God knows and sees everything, even before we know and see and He will always prepare you for what is ahead, good or bad. So, allow Him to do what He promises in His Word and that is to take care of you, protect you and love you better than anyone else ever can.

Remember, He said He will never leave us nor forsake us, we have no need to be discouraged or afraid, we are to always be courageous. God’s got us 24/7 and we need to act like we know and believe that. God Bless πŸ™‚
