What If Jesus Came For A Visit

Good Monday Morning Blog Family. We made it through the weekend and starting out with another awesome week ahead of us. Make sure you greet everyone you meet with a smile today. Allow the light of Jesus to shine through. Praise God

We are going to use our imagination this morning. I want you to imagine for just a minute that you received a phone call from Jesus. He was informing you that He was going to come by for a visit and the time He would arrive. What would your reaction be? Would you push the panic button or would you get very excited?

Is there anything you would have to change or could everything stay the same? Would you have to go into clean up mode, cleaning the house? Getting rid of some things that should not be in your house? Calling a family meeting for rehearsal on how to talk and act while Jesus is there? Would you and your spouse have to pretend to love each other and be happily married, changing the way you talk to each other? Could your children be their usual selves or would they have to make a drastic change? Will you have to take the Bible off the shelf and blow the dust off?

I think a lot of us would go into panic mode if we knew Jesus was coming by to visit. Because we don’t live our lives the way we have been instructed to live. Some of our marriages need help, our children are out of control, there are a lot of things in our house that shouldn’t be in our house, we allow things to take place in our house that we should not allow. Especially if you have given your life to Jesus. Living the Christian life has different life rules and standards from the world.

So, with all of this being said. Would you have to make changes in your house or could everything stay the same? If you really stopped to think about it. Why would you waste time making changes? Jesus already knows about you, your house, your family and your marriage. Something to think about, huh? God Bless 🙂

Prayer

Father God, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Lord and Savior. Giving You all of the honor, glory and praise that You so rightly deserve. You are an amazing God and Father and we love You so much. Help us to follow Jesus whole and complete and all times in a way that would make You proud of Your children. Help us to allow others to see Jesus in us no matter where we are or who we are with, let them see Jesus in us. Help us to live as Jesus would have us live, not as the world. Thank You and Amen.
