Is Jesus In Your Inner Circle?

Good Monday Morning Blog Family. I pray everyone had a safe and blessed weekend and all of the Father’s had an awesome Father’s Day. Although my Father went to be with the Lord many, many years ago, God blessed me with another wonderful Father through marriage. He treats me and loves me like a daughter and I treat him and love him like a Father, so we are both blessed. Praise God.

Today, I want to talk a little bit about then people we have in our inner circles. You know we all have those people in our lives that we call whenever something happens, good or bad. The people we call on when we need prayer or just need a listening ear. Someone we feel that will be there for us no matter what. Well, it’s ok to have those people in your life for whatever reasons. Always, always, make sure that you have the One that can help you and be there for you 24/7. Because those people that you have in your inner circle may not be able to come when you call them, they may not be able to be with you when you need them, and they may not be able to do anything that you are asking them to do. In other words, they may not have your back as much as you may think they do or should.

The One that I am talking about is Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Because He will be there no matter what, when you call on Him, He answers and when you need Him, He is there. More than anything, When Jesus shows up on the scene, things start to happen and changes start being made. All power is in His hands to do whatever you need Him to do, no matter what time of day or night. You can count on Jesus to be with you through the hard times as well as the easy times. He is the One you need in your inner circle at all times, even if there is not one else, He is all you need, He is more than enough. Always make it a habit to go to Him first and put your trust in Him, not all of these other people. You have to even be very careful of who you ask and allow to pray for you, why? Because everyone may not have your faith or your beliefs or may not even have a personal relationship with Jesus. If that person doesn’t know Jesus like you do, how can they come in agreement with you in prayer. So, be very careful of the people your trust praying for you.

Remember in the bible the woman with the issue blood? Matthew 9:20-22 reads, “And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.” So, she was in a crowd of people and I am sure she had family and friends in that crowd, in her inner circle. She bypassed all of them, didn’t stop to ask any of them to pray for her. She went straight to Jesus, the One that she knew would be able to help her. She wasn’t even trying to touch Him, she was only trying to touch the hem of His garment, because she knew by faith she would be healed. It wasn’t touching Jesus that healed her, it was her faith in Jesus that healed her. Praise God.

Then we have the daughter of Jairus that died. Matthew 9:18-19; 23-26 reads, “While He spoke these things to them , behold, a ruler came and worshipped Him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.” So, Jesus arose and followed him, and so did His disciples. When Jesus cam into the ruler’s house, and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing, He said to them, “Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him. But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. And the report of this went out into all that land.” So, all of the family and friends that Jairus had in his house when his daughter died, he did not ask any of them to pray for her. He went straight to Jesus and told Him his daughter had died because he knew that Jesus could change that situation. Even when Jesus arrived at Jairus’s house, he had to put all of the unbelieving faithless people out so that He could do what He had come to do.

So, if Jesus had to dismiss people from His presence that don’t believe as He does or don’t have faith that He can do what is being asked to do , shouldn’t you do the same? It’s good to have prayer warriors or prayer partners in your inner circle, just make sure you have Jesus in the midst. Make sure to go to Him first and not after you have been to everyone else. No one else can do what Jesus is able to do and Jesus does things others can’t do. So, pick and choose very carefully who you put your trust, faith and beliefs in, it makes all of the difference. I put all of my trust, faith and belief in Jesus, the only One that can make a difference in my life. God Bless 🙂
