Keep Your Focus on God

Good Thursday Morning Blog Family. I pray all is well as we are heading toward the end of another safe and blessed week. Praise God.

Well, this morning I was thinking about next month being the beginning of Fall, which is also the beginning of my favorite time of the year. As I said before, it just seems like this time of the year brings out that really nice part of people that you don’t see everyday. People are a lot nicer, they seem to smile more and in happier moods than usual. Maybe it’s because the weather cools down and it’s not as hot, or maybe because we are heading into the holiday season. I don’t know the reasons, but it would be so awesome if people were this way the entire year instead of the last 4 months of the year.

Although, the past few years have been a for a lot people. With corona virus everywhere and prices are unbelievable, sometimes it might seem hard to smile and be happy. If you are a child of God, then you still have a reason to smile and be happy. Because your focus is on God and not what’s going on all around you. Yes, we have to keep up with what is going on in this world, but we don’t have to focus on it. We need to keep our eyes and our focus on the Heavenly Father, the One who knows and sees all.

We have to remember that we may be in this world but we are not of this world. This world is not our home, we are just passing through, hallelujah. No matter what is going on in this world, your Heavenly Father already knows about it. Nothing catches Him by surprise, not even things you may be going through or up against. God is working behind the scenes for you and I even when it doesn’t seem like it. Just keep your focus on Him and trust Him at His Word and He will take care of you. I am a living witness to that. He will never leave your nor forsake you and He is always on time, He is never late.

We even have instructions in the Bible that tells us to keep our focus on God such as Proverbs 3:5-6 which reads, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” This is one of many of my favorite life scriptures and I stand on His Word, believing and trusting in God.

So, take time to readjust your focus if it is not on God. Why worry when you have God? Why worry when you can pray? God Bless 🙂

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Lord and Savior. Giving You all of the praise, honor and glory that belongs to You. Help us to keep our focus on You no matter what we are going through or faced with. Help us to know that You are the answer to everything and You know all things, even when we don’t. Help us to keep our focus on You in the good and bad times, whether we understand or not. Thank You for always being with us, never leaving nor forsaking us, ever. You are never late, You are always on time. We love You so much for who You are in the lives of Your children and welcoming us into Your family. Amen
