Good Monday morning Blog Family. I pray everyone had a safe and blessed weekend and ready to start a new week in the Lord. I am so thankful for the Lord and all He does in my life and who He is in my life. Because of His Love for me, I can look forward to days full of His Grace and Mercy, which is new every morning. I am sure you can agree with me on that.
This morning I would like to share a blog that I posted back in May of 2019 when I first started my blog ministry. Every now and then I will reach back and re-post an older blog, especially if it was one that I feel needs to be shared again as a reminder. The blog I chose to share is “Living A Life Of Integrity” and we all need to be reminded of that from time to time. I pray that we will all choose to live a life of integrity, because it pleases God. The definition of integrity is “The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.”
Simply put, always choose to do the right thing no matter what or who’s watching. I always say, if the decision or choice is too hard. Think about it this way. What would Jesus have done? Jesus always did the right thing. No matter what, where He was or who was there. So if we were to always think about what Jesus would have done. We would always choose to do the right thing. Then living a life of integrity would be easy.
Being a person of your word is very important. If you tell someone you are going to do something, then do it. You made a promise to someone, then keep that promise. If you told someone that you would call, then call them. Telling that person you would stop by sometime and check in on them, then do that. Be on time for work and other appointments. Watch how you treat and talk to people, be humble at all times. That’s living a life of integrity.
Psalm 41: 11-13 reads “(11)By this I know that you delight in me: my enemy will not shout in triumph over me. (12)But you have upheld me because of my integrity, and set me in your presence forever. (13)Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! Amen and Amen.”
Proverbs 2:6-8 reads “(6)For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding; (7)He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; (8)He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of His saints.
So, as you can see in the scriptures above. God expects us to live a life of integrity. Strive to please God more and not people. God Bless 🙂
