Good Morning, I pray everyone had a blessed weekend. I am back and ready to do some blogging. I posted last Tuesday morning (06/11/19) that I would not be adding any new posts last week. My mother unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord Sunday night (06/09/19). She is in heaven with my Dad now and I know she is happy. So, now I can get back to work doing what I love doing and that is talking about my Heavenly Father (God), my Lord and Savior (Jesus Christ) and my Comforter (Holy Spirit).
Just a reminder to those who are blessed to still have your Mom and/or Dad. Cherish every moment that you have with them and make sure you spend time with them. Tell them you love them every chance you get. Go and visit with them, even if you have to take time out of your busy schedule. Talk with them daily, they are only a phone call away. Make sure they know how much they mean to you and how much you love them.
God tells us in His Word (Bible) to honor our mother and father, so that should tell you the importance of this command. Ephesians 6:2 reads ” Honor your father and mother” (this is the first command with a promise), “that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land.”
Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today. Tomorrow may very well be too late. God Bless 🙂
