Good Thursday Morning Blog Family. I pray that you had your time with the Father this morning before starting your day. You can’t expect to receive all of the blessings He has for you everyday if you don’t go before Him and spend time with Him. Just as we loved spending time with our earthly fathers, we should want to spend time with our HeavenlyFather even more. Praise God.
Today I would just like to talk to you about some things that you already know, just giving you a little reminder in case you have forgotten. There is not a day that goes by you should not be communicating with the Father (God), our Lord and Savior (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit (God’s Spirit). When you stop and think about what we get from all three of them (the Trinity), we should have a very strong relationship with each one. When you think about it, there’s nothing we can do without Them.
God created us and gave us His Holy Word (the Bible) as our instructions to live this Christian life the way He intended for us to. He didn’t just throw us out here to figure all of this out on our own, He had already planned our life out for us. He had a plan for each one of us and gave us instructions to follow, ready to lead and guide us on this journey. All we have to do is get in that Word, read and study and be obedient as to what He tells us to do. He gave us life and in return we should be willing to give our lives back to Him. The One that wakes us up every morning, giving us another opportunity to live for Him and to accept and share the love He gives us. Then on top of everything He had done, He turned around and gave us His only Son to go to the cross for us and take our sins upon Himself. What a loving God and Father, He loved us just that much.
Jesus went through so much for us, giving us the opportunity to accept Him and not have to go through all the pain and sufferingHe endured for us. He loved us so much that He took our place and gave us a chance at life through Him. Jesus told us in John 10:10, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Jesus knew that there would be sin, sickness, pain and other horrific things we would face in this fallen world and for these things He went to the cross, for us. He didn’t take all of those lashes on His back, humiliated and then nailed to a cross because He had nothing better to do. No, He went through all of that pain and suffering for us. Shedding His Blood for our coverings and our healings, nothing but the Blood of Jesus. Giving your life to Jesus and living for Him and through Him should be top priority in your life. Why would you not want to spend time with the One who gave His life for you?
Then there is God’s Spirit, the precious Holy Spirit, our Comforter, Teacher and Helper. Jesus said in John 14:16-17, ” (16) And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever – (17) the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you.” So, even though Jesus ascended to heaven, He promised to send us the Holy Spirit to be with us on this Christian journey. He is here to help us understand God’s Word when we read and study. He helps us to pray when we don’t know what to pray or how to pray for a specific need. He is here to lead and guide us when we seem lost and off our chosen path. He lives in us to help us with whatever we need Him to help us with and always there for us. All we have to do is ask and He is always ready and willing.
I only touched a few of the blessings that we receive on a daily basis when we give our hearts and time to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. There is so much more than I have listed above. I suggest you get in the Word and spend some time each day learning more about Their love for you. God Bless 🙂

Amen! Amen! Amen! We at Slate Rock, Baptist totally agree with the Holy scriptures and you/Sister, we should pray every day, Monday through Sunday, 3x, three times a day. Mornings, when we first get up, at midday, stopping for a few minutes, and evenings just before we lay down, coming to the close of the day! Enjoyed it as always, God bless, thank you, so much, Amen!
