Good Monday Afternoon Blog Family. We have made it through a 3 day weekend and ready to start a brand new week in the Lord. Praise God.
Have you ever talked to someone that thought they had to get their life together before surrendering to Jesus? They feel like they have to stop whatever sinning they are doing. Whether it’s an addiction that needs to be broken. It could be a certain lifestyle they are living. Maybe it’s a very bad habit that they can’t seem to quit. What about that foul, gossiping or lying mouth that’s out of control? It’s not too hard for Jesus.
This is where people make the mistake of waiting until it’s too late to give their lives to Jesus. If you could get rid of whatever sin you have on your own, you wouldn’t need Jesus. Luke 5:31-32 reads, Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” So, whatever sin you are in that is keeping you from coming to Jesus, He is calling you to repent and follow Him.
If you are on drugs, come to Jesus. Maybe it’s alcohol, surrender it to Jesus. You may have a porn addiction, give it to Jesus. You may use vulgar language, Jesus can fix it. Your sin may be anger, not too hard for Jesus. That lying and gossiping mouth, Jesus can clean it up. Whatever your sin or sickness may be, Jesus can help you.
Whatever it is, God already knows about it. Jesus is just waiting on you to surrender, repent and follow Him. Let Him clean you up and you will be clean. So, don’t wait until it’s too late. Pick up whatever sin you are wallowing in every day and come on to Jesus, sin and all. He is waiting for you with open arms. So, pick yourself up and meet Jesus where you are. He’s waiting. God Bless 🙂
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus as humble as we know how. Thanking You for Your grace and mercy which is new every morning. Thank You for allowing us to meet Jesus where we are in our daily walk. We don’t have to get everything right and get all cleaned up before coming to Him. Your Word instructs us to come as we are and allow Jesus to do what only Jesus can do. Help us to do just that, in Jesus Name. Amen
