Good Thursday Afternoon Blog Family. Half way through the week and still going strong. God is good all the time and all the time God is good. Thank You Jesus. Praise God, for He is worthy to be praised.
Today I would like to share one of my favorite bible readings with you. It is one of those readings that we should confess and stand on every day. Even incorporate it into your daily prayer. There is not a lot I can say about this scripture reading because it speaks for itself. Please read below
Psalm 121 reads, ” (1) I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from?
(2) My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
(3) He will not let your foot slip – He who watches over you will not slumber;
(4) indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
(5) The Lord watches over you – the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
(6) the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
(7) The Lord will keep you from all harm – He will watch over your life;
(8) the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
Wow, is that not amazing? This is scripture that should be confessed everyday. Pay attention to every word that is being read, because God is telling you what He does for you everyday as His child. Watching over us and protecting us every day. Can you imagine the type of day you would have if you confessed Psalm 121 every morning, making it personal when you read it. To me, this says “Daughter, I got you, now go and enjoy your day.”
When reading this passage of scripture, just imagine your Heavenly Father saying this to you. So, when you read it, make it personal, between you and God. You will know exactly what I am talking about when you do, because some things you just can’t put into words. God Bless 🙂
Prayer
Father God, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus as humble as we know how. Giving You all of the praise and glory that belongs to You. Thanking You for always being there for us, day or night. Always watching over us and keeping us safe, healed, blessed and covered in the Blood of Jesus. You are where our help comes from. Amen
