Good Tuesday Morning Blog Family. Waking up to another beautiful day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Thanking Him for His grace and mercies that are new for us every morning. Praise God.
I was reading my devotion one morning and it was referencing Galatians 6:9, so pulled up the book of Galatians and started reading Galatians 6. What I read I have read before, this morning it hit me a little differently. I read Galatians 6:1-10, although it was a short reading it was a very powerful reading. I also read it in multiple versions to make sure I understood exactly what Paul was saying to us. I posted the New Living Translation (NLT) below to share with all of you. There is no way anyone can read it and not walk away with a clear understanding. Take what you read and be obedient and do exactly what you are being instructed to do.
When you stop and think about all of the instructions listed in the Bible for us, as Christians and God’s Children. What He asks of us is not hard, we are the ones that make it hard. When ever God gives us something to do He always provides what we will need to be obedient. He is a loving Father and He loves us and cares for us very much. So, why would He instruct us to do things that we cannot do, that is not who He is. He is there with us helping us all the way, never leaving us nor forsaking us. Making sure as a good Father, we His children are very successful in this life He has blessed us with.
So, when you read the scripture reading below, think about what you are reading and apply it to your own life and do what it says. Loving others, helping those in need, doing what you do well and in a way that pleases our Father, plant good seed in order to receive a good harvest in return and never get tired of doing good and doing what is right in the eyes of God.
Galatians 6:1-10 reads, “1 Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. 2 Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. 3 If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important.
4 Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. 5 For we are each responsible for our own conduct.
6 Those who are taught the word of God should provide for their teachers, sharing all good things with them.
7 Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. 8 Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. 9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. 10 Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.”
I pray you will take what you have read and make it a priority in your life to make it happen, everyday. You will always run into someone that needs your help and that is your opportunity for you to allow them to see Jesus in you. It may not always be money, it could be time, a listening ear, a helping hand or just being a friend. Whatever the need may be, ask the Holy Spirit to help you make our Father proud. God Bless 🙂
Prayer
