Nothing But The Blood Of Jesus

Good Tuesday Morning Blog Family. With so much turmoil in the world today, yes it is a blessing to see another day. God’s Grace and Mercy, new every morning. Praise the Mighty Name of Jesus.

This morning I want to remind you about the Blood of Jesus. Why, you may ask? Because there is so much Power in the Blood of Jesus. There is redemption, fellowship, peace, cleansing, power and healing in the Blood of Jesus. Ask God to wash and cleanse you and protect you in and through the Blood of Jesus every day.

I found a small reading about why Robert Lowry wrote the hymn “Nothing But The Blood Of Jesus”. It reads, “Robert Lowry wrote this hymn as a reminder of what truly saves us from sin: “Nothing but the Blood of Jesus.” Lowry wrote, “Nothing can for sin atone: nothing but the Blood of Jesus.” This hymn calls us to put our complete faith in Jesus for sanctification from sin and salvation from death. Let us rejoice in the gift of eternal life Jesus has given by His Blood.”

The first verse of the songs says, “What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus. O precious is the flow that makes me white as snow; not other fount I know; nothing but the Blood of Jesus.” There are a lot of songs about the Blood of Jesus, because of the Power it has. Wonder working power in the Blood that was shed for you and I. Praise the Mighty Name of Jesus.

So, during all of this turmoil in the world today. Ask God to cover you and your loved ones in the Blood of Jesus. This Blood can wash away your sins and make you whole again. How awesome is that, to be washed clean and made whole again from all sin. Thank You Jesus for Your Precious Blood that was shed for us. God Bless 🙂

Prayer

Father God, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Lord and Savior. Thanking You for giving us Your one and only Son. Thanking You for loving us enough for sending Him to the cross to shed His precious Blood for us. We are and will be forever grateful. Amen
