Our Life Assurance Policy

Good Tuesday Morning Blog Family, how are we doing this morning? I am feeling so blessed right now and I pray you are as well. God is just so good and sometimes when I think about how good He is, I get a little overwhelmed. God is so good all of the time and and all of the time God is so good. Thank You Jesus.

So, a while back I took some time to sit down and get my Life Insurance together. You know when I was working I had Life Insurance, but when you leave the job it goes with it. So, I took the time to sit down and get all of my information together and get everything in order for when I go home, my real true home. This is something that no one wants to talk about or do, but it is very important to have all of this in place to make things easier on your family. While filling out my documents for my policy, it made me think about God being our Assurance policy for our after life. We have an insurance policy now to make sure our family members will be able to bury us and take care of our affairs that are left behind. So, things won’t fall on them and give them a heavy load or a burden. Then, of course we always leave a little extra just because we love them.

We should be doing that same thing as we prepare ourselves and our family members for that after life. Making sure they are saved and belong to God now and able to go live with Him for eternity. To me, the Life Assurance is actually more important than the Life Insurance we have here now. I looked up the definition of assurance and it read, “(1) a positive declaration intended to give confidence; a promise.” Which that assurance for a Christian is the Bible, God’s Holy Word. So, as we have a Life Insurance policy (a signed document) for when we die to take care of things. We have a Life Assurance policy (God’s Holy Bible) for after we die and go to heaven to live with Him. God assures (promises) us a life for all eternity with Him.

John 11:25 reads, “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;” Philippians 3:20-21 reads, ” (20)But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, (21) who, by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like His glorious body.” John 14:2-3 reads, ” (2)My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? (3)And is I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” No, out of the mouth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that is our after Life Assurance policy. Thank You Jesus.

So, as you are making sure your loved ones will be able to take care of you and your left behind affairs with your Life Insurance Policy. Make sure you and your loved ones have taken care of yourself, them and all of the after life affairs with your Life Assurance Policy. God Bless 🙂

Prayer
