Happy Monday to everyone. I would like to apologize for a late post today, but I was having air conditioner repairs done. Now, I can move on to better things, since it’s cool in the house once again. Can you remember a time that you were praying and asking God for something that you did not receive? Or maybe you were praying about a situation that did not turn out like you expected it to? Praying for that person to become your husband or wife and they just walked out of your life. Expecting to get that raise and promotion, but it went to your co-worker instead. We have to…

Friday’s Prayer
Well, we made it to another Friday. Today it was put on my heart to just say a little prayer. So, please join me today and pray not just for yourself and your family, but for others outside of your family. Father, I come to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. First thanking You for all You have done, all You are doing and all I know You will do. Not just in my life and family but in the lives of others and other families. I may not know the needs of others, but You do. Please meet their needs whatever they may be.…

Is Your House Clean?
A few months ago, I was asked to speak at a Women’s Mission meeting. Whenever I am asked to speak, I immediately pray about it and ask the Holy Spirit to help me. So, one night after praying about what I would speak about. I heard this question in my spirit, “is your house clean?” When I heard the question, I repeated it out loud a couple of times and then thought about it. He’s not asking about the house in which I live. He’s asking about the house in which He lives. My body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Corinthians 6:19 reads, “Do you not know…

Will You Be Ready?
Last year I watched a movie titled “Sunday Morning Rapture.” I was searching for a Christian movie to watch. During and after watching this movie, it really made me think about my Christian walk. I even had my husband watch it when he came home, so I watched it twice. In this movie, people were going about their everyday lives, just like we are doing today. Some people were Christians and some were not, some people were believers and some were not. Because you can say you are a Christian and still not be a believer. There were Christian families that had a lot of the same problems we are…

Give It To God and Leave It
Well, we made it through another glorious week and it is Friday. I pray everyone had a safe and Happy 4th of July. Last year I was blessed to do a one day Women’s Retreat at my church. I had the ladies to participate in an activity at the very beginning and I would like to share it with you. When everyone was seated, they were given a piece of paper and pen and instructed to make a list. When finished with that list, they were all given to me. So, let us begin. First you need a piece of paper and a pen. Then on this piece of paper,…

Christians With Benefits
Anyone who has been employed and worked for a company has received some type of benefits. Usually health, dental, vision, life and whatever else the company offers. The company pays for a percentage and you pay the remaining balance of the cost for the benefits. Which is usually very expensive. Being a Christian, you are offered another set of benefits. God supplies these benefits to you at no charge, because the price has already been paid in full. These benefits come with knowing God and believing in His Son Jesus Christ, accepting Him as your Lord and Savior. Take a minute and read over the God supplied benefits below: Psalm…

Enjoy Your Journey
Happy Monday! I pray everyone had a safe and blessed weekend and ready to start a new week with God. So, lets put on our happy faces today and make someone else smile. Every Sunday morning and some Saturday mornings, I start my weekly journey to the country. The drive is about 45 minutes to an hour and I so enjoy it. When I exit the interstate and start down those back country roads, it is amazing. Sometimes I will let my window down a little to enjoy the fresh country air. I take my time and enjoy all of the scenery and aromas. I notice how green the trees…

My Early Morning Meetings
Have you ever been awaken in the early morning hours from a good sleep and fully awake? Not rubbing your eyes or yawning a lot, but fully awake? I heard a pastor say this is God waking you up to meet with you. So, when this happens you should get up and spend that time with God. Well, about a year ago this was happening to me every night at the same time. It didn’t matter how deep of a sleep I was in, I would just wake up. One night I thought about what this pastor said and I decided to see for myself. So, when I would wake…

If We Loved Like Jesus Loves
This morning during my devotion time and having my morning cup of coffee. My great granddaughter toddled in and reached up for me to pick her up. She just turned one and she is absolutely adorable. She looked up at me and gave me a big smile with that one little tooth showing. I picked her up and gave her a big hug and a kiss and in that brief moment I thought about how much I love this precious little girl. Then I thought about how much Jesus loves me and all He went through just for me. My mind then took me back to scenes in the movie,…

What’s Your Story?
Happy Monday Everyone! Psalm 118:24 reads, “This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Amen, Amen and Amen. When I was in search of a church home after we moved from the city to the country. God placed me in the this amazing little country church. He also put it on my heart to start a Women’s Ministry. I talked to my Pastor and First Lady and they thought it was a great idea. So, I began putting together a one day (Saturday) Women’s Retreat, which was the beginning of our yearly Women’s Retreat. As I was praying about a theme for…
