Good Thursday Morning Blog Family. I pray you are having a blessed Thursday so far and allowing Jesus to be seen and heard in you. You may be the only Bible some people will ever see and hear, so represent our Father well. Praise God.
The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing which is 1 Thessalonians 5:17. There is a very good reason God tells us to pray witout ceasing. Because He wants us to do just that, to always pray about everything, not some things, but everything. There is never anything to big or too small that we cannot take to God in prayer. He wants us to bring everything to Him in prayer and then have faith, trust and believe in Him and His Word. No matter what is going on in your life, prayer is the best answer and I say that because again, God tells us to pray without ceasing. Get in the habit of talking to God about everybody and everything and not everyone else.
Prayer changes things and people. You may not see the changes or get the answers right away and that is becasue God’s timing is not our timing. God is never late, He is always on time, His time, not our time, remember that. God knows what we need better than we do, He knows all and sees all. He just ask us to surrender all to Him and come to Him first and not as a last resort. Always go to the throne instead of the phone. Talk to God first instead of all of your friends or family members and then when that advise does not work, then you go to God. No, that is in the wrong order, go to God first, not last.
Prayer changes your attitude toward people and life circumstances. Trust me, there is nothing that you can not take to God in prayer and talk to Him about. This is what He wants us to do, not sometimes but all the time and with God on your side, you will get the unlimate victory in whatever it is. God is so good all the time and all the time God is good. Jeremiah 33:3 reads, “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not k now.” Matthew 7:7-8 reads, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” James 5:16 reads,” The prayer of a rightous person is powerful and effective.” So, all of the above scriptures God is telling us to come to Him and that is what we need to do. Praise God.
Sometimes I will type something in my computer and ask for all of the scriptures pertaining to what I asked. Sitting and reading through those scriptures makes a world of difference, try it. The Word of God will change you, your feelings, your attitude, your health, your walk, your talk, your everything. Try it and you will not regret it, I promise. Prayer
Father God, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Lord and Savior. Giving You all of the praise, all of the glory and all of the honor. You are such a good and gracious God and Father and we appreciate all that You do. We love you so much and so thankful for loving us and protecting us the we You do. Help us to always come to You about everything in our everyday lives. Because You have all the answers and we have to trust You, always. Thank You and Amen.
