Starting and Ending Your Day With God

Good Wednesday Morning Blog Family. Thank you Father for another beautiful and blessed day that You have allowed us to be a part of. Waking us up this morning and starting us on our way in You. Another God filled day full of Your many blessings and answered prayers. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

When my blog site went live in May of this 2019 and I posted my first blog. I can’t believe I have been doing this for 5 years and have enjoyed it every step of the way. I have talked about the importance of starting your day with God in my past blog posts. So, today’s blog will be just a little reminder of how important it is to start and end your day with God. Spending your mornings and evenings with God before you venture out for the day or retire for the night can only make for a very good day or night.

It doesn’t matter if you are a stay at home mom or wife, a career woman, a business man, a student, a caregiver or whatever you do. Setting your alarm to get up a few extra minutes early. Spending that much needed one on one time with the Father is worth it. Get before Him and pray about and over your day and you will see what a difference it makes. Especially if you have older kids that are able to join in with you for that morning time with God before going off to school. Getting your entire family together before heading out in the morning and gathering together again at the end of the day. Praying over your days and thanking Him for those blessed days at the the of the day.

God knows what is ahead of us every minute of the day. From the time we wake up each morning until we go to sleep at night. Why would you not consult Him every morning before starting your day? He already knows what is ahead of you and what you will have to face, good or bad. He is ready to prepare us for whatever, we just need to get before Him and listen for our instructions. Then make sure we are obedient to whatever He instructs us to do. A husband and wife that prays together, stays together and a family that prays together, stays together. I am a great believer of that statement.

Psalm 118:24 reads, “This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” He made the day, so lets trust Him with our day. Have a Blessed and God filled day. God Bless 🙂

Prayer

Father God, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus as humble as we know how. Giving You all of the praise and glory that belongs to You. Thanking You for the opportunities to come before You each morning and again at the end of the day. To sit before You in prayer or just to spend that much needed time with You before we start our day or end our day. Starting and ending our days with You is such a blessing to us. Help us to continue to do that and if we are not doing it, put it on our heart to do so. Thank You Father and we love You. Amen
