Surrendering All To God

Good Monday Morning. I pray everyone had a safe and blessed weekend. Attended church on Sunday for your weekly infilling of God’s Holy and Sanctified Word. Being surrounded by other Christians and good fellowship. The best way to start your week and I’m sure you agree.

I was on my way to church Sunday morning and listening to my praise and worship music as I always do. Having a beautiful time in the Lord and preparing my heart to receive whatever message He had for me. I don’t know about you, but I have already had church in my car before I even get to church. It’s just that good when you open your heart to God and just let Him have His way. I have to laugh sometimes because I will have one hand lifted and one hand on the steering wheel. Wondering how many people think I am waving and speaking to them, I just smile and continue on.

I was listening to this song that was saying, “Lord, I surrender all that I am and all that I have to You.” So, when the song was finished, I thought about the words and what it was saying. It made me think about what I have surrendered to God in my own life. Telling God in my alone time with Him that I surrender my life to Him and every thing that has anything to do with me. Surrendering my life, my marriage, my family, my health, my children and their families and so on. Knowing I had done exactly what that song had said, I had surrendered all that I am and all that I have to God and that made my heart smile.

Just a little food for the soul. If you haven’t surrendered all that you are and all that you have to God. Think about doing that the next time you spend time with Him. I promise you will fill like something very heavy has been lifted off of you and it has. Surrendering to God is giving Him complete control over you and your life and all that is included. It gives you a peace like you have never experienced before. God can do a much better job than you and I ever could. So, go ahead and surrender everything to God and let Him have complete control. Second best decision you will ever make, because the first best decision was giving your life to Christ and being Saved. God Bless πŸ™‚
