Good Friday Morning Blog Family. I pray everyone’s having a safe and blessed day and week so far. I know I usually do a prayer today for “Friday’s Prayer.” I decided to post this little reminder for “Friday’s” Prayer today. Thank You Jesus.
Before I continue on with my post, let me add an extra prayer for all of our children, schools, staff and everyone at our schools. Lord, as You know someone’s sending school shooting threats to our schools everywhere as a joke. Even though it may be a joke, the schools still have to take it serious and go through the proper safety precautions for our children. Lord, please keep our children safe and covered in the blood of Jesus at all times, their angels around them and Your protective hedge around them. Keep all harm and danger away from them and keep Psalm 91, our prayer of protection all over them, in Jesus Name. Amen
I was listening to this song that was saying, “Lord, I surrender all that I am and all that I have to You.” So, when the song was finished, I thought about the words and what it was saying. It made me think about what I have surrendered to God in my own life. Telling God in my alone time with Him that I surrender my life to Him and every thing that has anything to do with me. Surrendering my life, my marriage, my family, my health, my children and their families and so on. Knowing I had done exactly what that song had said, I had surrendered all that I am and all that I have to God and that made my heart smile.
Just a little food for the soul. If you haven’t surrendered all that you are and all that you have to God. Think about doing that the next time you spend time with Him. I promise you will fill like something very heavy has been lifted off of you and it has. Surrendering to God is giving Him complete control over you and your life and all that is included. It gives you a peace like you have never experienced before. God can do a much better job than you and I ever could. So, go ahead and surrender everything to God and let Him have complete control. Second best decision you will ever make, because the first best decision was giving your life to Christ and being Saved. God Bless 🙂
Prayer
