Good Thursday Morning Blog Family and what a beautiful morning it is. Thanking God for this beautiful day that was given to us by Him and we are so grateful. Thank You Jesus.
This morning I would like to talk about being thankful and grateful for what God is doing for us. There is not a day that goes by I am not thanking God for something, because I know my whole entire life belongs to Him. Everything I have is because God gave it to me and I trust and believe in Him for all things and everything. He is my Heavenly Father and He takes such good care of me and my family and loved ones, He is truly a good, good Father.
In saying all of that, I have to share my morning story with you. When I opened my phone this morning, there was an article about Dion Sanders, and I am sure everyone knows who he is. I had been reading articles about him because of his health issues he was going through. So, I was reading the article this morning about him accepting a coaching job with a team in Colorado and the house he just purchased in Colorado with mountain views. As he was giving a little tour, he went outside and was walking around the house when he just stopped and started thanking and praising God. He was telling God thank You and how good He was and how much he loved Him.
At that moment I was so touched by this, because sometimes when we get as big as Dion is, we sometimes forget how we got there and who made it happen. I was thinking, as much fame and fortune, money and everything else he has. He still takes the time to say thank You God, because he knows God get all of the Glory and he knows where his help comes from. Even though our house is not as big as Dion’s house and we don’t have as much money as Dion, we can still praise and thank the same God for our many blessings. We may be on different levels, we still serve the same awesome God.
So, this is just a little reminder to thank and praise God for your many blessings, no matter how big or small. Always have a thankful ad grateful hear toward God for everything and don’t forget to be a blessing to others. Our blessings are not just for us, God gives us more than enough, more than we need and this is to have enough to help someone else. We are blessed to be a blessing, it makes you feel really good to give sometimes and not just always receiving. God Bless 🙂
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we come to You this morning in the Mighty Name of Jesus as Your children. Thanking You and giving You all o the honor, praise and glory that belongs to You. You are such an amazing and loving God and You take good care of us. Help us to have a grateful and thankful heart toward You at all times. Not forgetting that all of the glory belongs to You. Thank You for who You are in our lives. Amen
