Thanksgiving Prayer

Good Friday Morning. I pray this has been a blessed week for everyone. The weekend is upon us, the weekend before Thanksgiving. So today, instead of doing Friday’s Prayer, I would like to say a Thanksgiving Prayer over everyone.

Father God, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Giving You all of the Glory, all of the Honor and all of the Praise. Thanking You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for all You have done, all You are doing and all You will do in the lives of Your children. Heavenly Father, we come to You today with thankful and grateful hearts.

Taking this time to stop and reflect over all of our many blessings and saying Thank You. Thanking You for loving us enough to give us Your Son Jesus Christ. We come saying thank You for not just what You do, but for who You are. Thank you for making ways for us when we didn’t see a way. We thank You for protecting us and keeping us from all danger and harm. Thank You for always having our best interest at heart. We thank You for the many provisions that are made possible everyday because of Your love for us.

As Your children make plans this weekend and upcoming week to gather with their families, loved ones and friends. Gathering together in celebration of Thanksgiving. Lord, we ask that You give us all traveling grace to get to our destinations safely and back home safely. Keeping us in the right places at the right times. You being our refuge and our fortress, in You we trust. Help us to always keep our mind and attention alert to our surroundings as we travel.

But more than anything, help us to be thankful and grateful every day of our lives. We all have so much to be thankful for and to say Thank You for. In the Mighty Name of Jesus we pray. Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless 🙂
