The Bible – God’s Instructions For A Blessed Life

Good Tuesday Morning Blog Family. I pray everyone’s having an awesome week so far. Please stay prayed up, stay in the Word, stay connected to God and continue to be a blessing to others. Thank You Jesus.

I’ve heard people say that the letters BIBLE stands for “Believers Instructions Before Leaving Earth.”  Well when you read and study your Bible, that’s exactly what it is, Gods instructions to us on how to live a Godly Christian Life, the way He intended.  A blessed life, Godly and prayer filled homes, happy marriages, respectful children, abundant finances, good health and love over flowing.  Then we decided we don’t have time to sit and read and study the Bible, and the all time favorite excuse, I don’t read the Bible because I don’t understand it.  So now, that God Filled Life that God intended for us to live has changed, why?  Because we didn’t read and obey His instructions.  Now we live a life full of strife, sickness, lack, divorce, disrespectful children, disobedience, hate and homes without God or prayer.

But when you open your Bible to the Word of God, all of the help and answers you are looking for are right there.  Because there are no quick fixes to anything, quick fixes don’t last, but what’s true and lasting is the Word of God.  Any trials, turmoil, problems, struggles or issues we are faced with day to day, the answer is in the Bible.

If you are having health problems, Isaiah 53:5 says “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.”

If you are trying to make a decision and don’t know what to do, Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding and in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.”

If your children are out of control, Proverbs 13:24 says “He who spares the rod spoils the child, but he who loves him disciplines him promptly.”

Husbands and wives if you are having marital problems because you don’t know how to love each other the way God instructed, Ephesians 5:25 says “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her.”  Ephesians 5:22 says “Wives, submit to your own husband as to the Lord.” So, in other words, get in the Word and learn how you are to love God and you will know how to love each other.  I am always hearing of marriages falling apart and husbands and wives separating and divorcing.  I want to tell them, open your Bible and get in the Word, the instructions are there.  God created marriage, He knows how it is supposed to work.  He tells you how to love your wife and how to love your husband with His kind of love and it works.

I heard a Pastor say that trusting God means looking beyond what we see to what God sees.  Well, how are you going to know what God sees if you don’t get in the Word and find out.  God tells us in Jeremiah 29:11-13 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart”.

God is telling us to seek Him, seek Him in this Bible in His Word, He will make this Book come alive to you. He will show you things, point out scriptures you need and speak to you.  Matthew 6:11 says “Give us this day our daily Bread, this is our daily Bread and we need to eat of it every day.  Part of my morning prayer every day is thanking God for my Daily Bread and asking the Holy Spirit to help me live my life in a way that would be pleasing to my Heavenly Father, and guess what?  He does, every day.  God Bless.

Prayer

Father God, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Lord and Savior. Thanking You and praising You for everything and all things. Thank You for the Bible, which is Your Holy Word. Thank You for giving us all of the instruction we need on this journey, that we can find in the Bible. You made sure we were well equipped to do what we are supposed to be doing in obedience to Your Word. We love You so much. Amen
