Good Monday Morning Blog Family. I pray everyone had a blessed and restful weekend. Getting ready to move forward into another week. Ready to be blessed and ready to be a blessing. Praise God.
Today I would like to talk to you about your choices. The choices that we make in our every day lives determines the type of life we live, the type of job we have, whether we have a family or not, what kind of car we drive or house we live in. Choices are a very important part of life and we need to make good ones, no matter what our options may be. Even the choices you make to start your day will determine the rest of your day. So, choices are very important, that is why God gave them to us.
The most important choice you will ever make is who you will give your life to, God or the devil? Whether your reservations will be made in Heaven or Hell? You would think that would be a very easy choice to make, but for some it is very difficult. Although, it was a very easy choice for me, didn’t have to think about it all. Finding out how much God loved me and what Jesus did for me, it wasn’t a choice any more. That was a decision I am so glad I made and I pray all of you feel the same way.
Joshua 24:14-15 reads, “Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord! And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
So, if you have not made that choice, I would suggest you do so now. Choosing God and Heaven or the devil and hell should not be a hard choice. I pray you have already made that choice and living for God, because that is the best choice you will ever make. I know I am very happy with my decision and I pray you are too. If not, please read Romans 10:9-10, “(9)That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (10)For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” God Bless 🙂
Prayer
Father God, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Lord and Savior. Giving You all of the honor, praise and all of the glory. Thanking You for giving us the choice to make Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Thank You for giving Your one and only Son so that we were able to make that decision that has a affected the rest of our lives. You are so good to us and we are forever grateful. For those that have not made the choice to invite Jesus into their hearts and lives, help them to make the right choice.
