The Holy Spirit – God’s Spirit

Good Monday Morning Blog Family. I pray everyone had a blessed, safe and restful weekend. Ready to start another glorious week in the Lord. Being a good representation of who God is to you and in your life.

This morning I would like to talk to you about the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity. The Trinity is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit which is one God in three Divine Persons. The Father is God, the Son is Jesus and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. So, now we can move on to talk about the third Divine Person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit.

There was a time in my life that any time I prayed about anything it was either to my Heavenly Father or to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I remember having a conversation with my Mom about a specific prayer. I was praying for help in a particular area of my life, needing to know how to do something. The first thing she asked me was if I had asked the Holy Spirit to help me? My answer was no, because I had not. She then went on to inform me on why the Holy Spirit was sent to us. He was here to help us, to counsel us, to comfort us and to teach us. He is also our intercessor, when we don’t know how to pray about something, He intercedes on our behalf to the Father.

You hear a lot about Father God and our Savior Jesus Christ, but you don’t hear as much about the Holy Spirit. I don’t think people forget about the Holy Spirit, I think we are just used to hearing about God and Jesus more and they are the two we talk to and pray to. But thanks to my Mom for asking me about the Holy Spirit helping me. I now seek Him as much if not more than my Heavenly Father and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Because Jesus sent Him to us to be our Comforter, our Counselor and our Helper. John 16:7 reads, “But I tell the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.”

So, I will leave you with these two scriptures about our precious Holy Spirit. Who is always there, waiting in love to help you any way He can. Romans 8:26-27 reads, “(26) In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. (27) And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.” Have a Blessed and Holy Spirit filled day. God Bless 🙂

Father God, we come to You in the name of Jesus. Thanking You for Your precious Holy Spirit. Help us to know Him as our Helper and our Comorter and our teacher. Thank You Father. Amen
