The Whole Armor Of God – Don’t Leave Home Without It

Good Monday Morning Blog Family. I pray everyone had a safe and blessed weekend and plenty of rest in the Lord. I would like to take a few minutes and lift up the families of the people that were killed or injured at the Outlet Mall in Allen, Tx on Saturday. I pray that God will heal the injured and strengthen the families that lost loved ones in this tragedy. Praise His Holy Name.

Yesterday, Pastor Edwards was talking about this tragedy that happened Saturday. He was also talking about the importance of God’s Armor and why we should wear it everyday. Because the people that lost their lives or were injured in this shooting, they were just out shopping as so many of us do on the weekends. Making the point that you don’t ever know when the enemy is going to attack, so you need to always be prepared. Don’t just pray with something is wrong, pray when everything is going right. Don’t just pray when you are sick, pray when you are well and healthy. Don’t just pray when the money is gone, pray when the money is plentiful. Stay prayed up at all times and put on your Armor, the Whole Armor of God. He gave it to you for a reason and that is to put it on and wear it.

So, when you and your family are preparing to leave the house in the mornings for school and work or wherever you may be going. Take a minute and do 2 things, pray Psalm 91 over you and your family and put on the Whole Armor of God, in Jesus Name. I have added Ephesians 6:10-18 for you to read this morning.

The Whole Armor of God

Ephesians 6:10-18

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

Have a blessed day in the Lord and keep Him first in all you do. God Bless 🙂

Prayer

Father God, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus as humble as we know how. Giving You all of the praise and glory that belongs to You. Thanking You for watching over us and keeping us safe, being our refuge and our fortress. Keeping us away from all harm and danger and keeping all harm and danger away from us. Thank You for giving us The Whole Armor of God and Psalm 91 as safety and weapons to use against the enemy. We love You. Amen.
