Good Monday Afternoon Blog Family. I pray everyone had a safe and blessed weekend and ready for a new week ahead. Filled with God’s grace and mercy which we receive new every morning. Thank You Jesus. This afternoon I would like to talk about our levels of faith and how much we actually trust God. I know I talk a lot about faith and trusting God, because it is very important.
We are very quick to say we have faith, but how much faith do we actually have? What kind of faith do we actually have? Do we have that mountain moving faith that the Bible talks about? Matthew 17:20 reads, “He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’, and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” So, do you have the kind of faith that can move mountain size things that you may come up against? I pray that you do and if you don’t, get in the Word and build your faith. I know reading about the faith of people in the Bible and what took place because of their faith, it boosted my faith a lot. I am sure it will do the same for you. Because faith is what pleases God and without faith, you cannot please Him. Hebrews 11:6 reads, “And without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.”
What about your trust, how much do you actually trust God. Do you trust Him with your life, with everything? Or, do you just trust Him with certain things or certain areas of your life? Do you have the kind of trust that is described in the Bible. Proverbs 3:5-6 reads, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.” Do you have this kind of trust in God. When you come against something that you have no control over, can you trust God as in Proverbs 3:5-6? I pray that you do and if you don’t, get in the Word and work on your trust. Because there till come a time that God will be all that you have and you will have to trust Him.
I am talking about faith and trust this morning because I was faced with something this weekend that I have no control over, there is nothing I can do but pray. I have to have that mountain moving faith in Hebrews 11:6 and the kind of trust in Proverbs 3:5-6. I hadn’t really thought about my faith and trust in God before, because I knew I had faith in Him and I knew I trusted Him with and in all things. Now, my faith and trust has been put to the test and I have to make sure they are both where they need to be. Although, I do know what kind of God I serve and I know He is in this all the way. He has never failed me yet and I know He won’t this time either.
Because you are my Blog Family. I am asking you to join with me this afternoon lifting my daughter up in prayer. She had not been feeling well and I took her to the doctor Saturday to find out she has coronavirus. She is doing good and I know that she will beat this. She is a child of God and she has a very good relationship with Him. Meaning she spends time with Him on a daily basis and He is a big part of her life. Matthew 18:20 reads, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” So by faith, I am asking that we gather together and lift her up in prayer. Thank you in advance for your prayers and thank You Father for what I know is already done. In the Mighty Name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Thank You and Amen, Amen and Amen. God Bless π
